🗺️ Route Breakdown1️⃣ Tierfehd → Alp Güntlenau / Bifertenalp (lower section)
  • Starts near the Linth power station
  • Long, steady climb through forest and steep pastures
  • Well-marked but relentless elevation gain
  • Great views back into the Linth valley
⏱️ This is the most physically demanding part (heat + gradient).

2️⃣ Middle alpine section (open terrain)
  • Tree line drops away → open alpine slopes
  • Terrain becomes rockier
  • Trail alternates between paths and rocky steps
  • Increasing views toward the Clariden massif

3️⃣ Upper section → Claridenhütte
  • True high-alpine feel
  • Narrower trail, some exposed sections
  • Sure-footedness required
  • Possible snowfields early in the season
  • Final traverse brings you straight to the hut terrace

🚍 Access & Logistics
  • Tierfehd: Reachable by train (Ziegelbrücke → Linthal → Tierfehd)
  • Return options:
    • Same way down (long day)
    • Overnight at the hut (recommended)
    • Continue next day toward Klausen Pass / Urnerboden (advanced)
